Sean's Biography

Be The Change You Wish To See

I  am a Pennsylvania Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and an NBCC  Board Certified Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) with 11 years of  clinical experience with children on the Autism Spectrum and behavioral  issues, as well as individual counseling and Equine Assisted Mental  Health Therapy.

Born  and raised in the Philadelphia Suburbs, I attended Devon Prep and  Archbishop John Carroll High School before matriculating to Delaware  County Community College where I graduated with honors and an A.A in  Liberal Arts. I then transferred on to complete a  B.A. in English and  Communications from Cabrini University

I spent over 25 years in live television as a Camera Operator  specializing in Sports and Entertainment, where I was fortunate to be part of The 1996 Olympics, Numerous World Series, NHL Stanley Cup and NBA  Finals, Assorted Collegiate National Championships and International  World Cups in Soccer and Hockey. After winning 6 Emmy Awards along the  way, I sensed that it was time for a change and a chance to share the  lessons I had learned on a more personal level. I sought to become the  positive change I wished to see in the world, and returned to school in  2008 earning a Master’s Degree in School Counseling and Mental Health  Therapy from The University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of  Education.

Upon  graduation I completed my first book, “99 Ways To Be Kind”, which is a book  about different kind acts you can do for yourself, your family, or your  community in a variety of different settings and how changing your  little corner of the world can improve the world as a whole.

I  also began work at Foundations Behavioral Health in Doylestown,  Pennsylvania as a mobile therapist, and was known for taking on  difficult cases, often involving children on the Autism Spectrum and  experiencing success, where previously there had been little. In 2018, I  completed my requirements for certification as a Licensed Professional  Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania, an EAGALA Mental Health Professional  and earned my NBCC Board Certification as a Nationally Certified  Counselor.

I  have been working with children and adults in private practice since 2010 in Bucks  County, PA where I’m married to my lovely wife of 23 years, and  where we reside with our 2 rescue dogs, 2 cats, and numerous horses.
